Athens

We had a wonderful weekend in Athens with our friends Rick, Lori, and 50 euro cent (to be explained in the next day or so). We had a fun dinner over Thanksgiving and decieded to see some sights instead of shop on black Friday. We went to the Acropolis and saw the Parthenon as seen in the photo, mars hill, a few shops, and a starbucks. We had so much fun running around the city. Saturday we took a day trip out to Corinth which was one of our favorite sights. I have a few thoughts to share on a future blog. We enjoyed a few other sights and then back to Athens so we could get to church in the morning. Rick did a great job and had a bunch of pastor-Paul-isms that made us feel like we were attendind CLA in the old days. We went to a great Greek restuarant after service and we had a little time on the beach that evening. Even though the beach was a bit cold Brady jump in the water.... Mac was a bit more reserved like his dad and opted for the dryer, warmer beach experience. Monday was a travel day back with a stop at the city of Delphi. This was a magestic mountian location that reminded me of Glacier park back in Montana. Delphi was the center of Greek spirituality in it's god worshiping era. It was the site where god was nearest to man. We enjoyed the sites, and the boys loved climbing and jumping off rocks. We traveled back home and today I am in Bulgaria borrowing a land cruiser.... What a wild couple of days. I have some pictures to post, and some longer thoughts on some of these sites..... I can't believe it's December already....Athens
